Procedure to Erase OLD NVR Records

ATTENTION: This procedure will erase ALL recordings of the NVR!

This procedure applies to the following cases:

* The recorder shows record drives (E:/, F:/, G:/, ...) as full (recycling record is not working);

* The recordings are present in HWin4.x/Hwin5.x, but when one tries to download the file, the program shows an error.

Do the following:

* In Windows Desktop, search for the HERNIS Module Watchdog. Double click it.

* Click on the Stop Watchdog button. All the services status will show as Inactive.

* Access the location C:/hernis/tools in Windows Explorer. There, double click the file HERNIS Video Remover.exe.

* The program have two areas: Drives to Scan and Delete selected files. Click on the Scan selected drives button, to search for recordings and Windows Registry data.

* When the area bellow show the files, click on Delete selected files and, after this, Delete reg data. This procedure will erase all the recordings and the registry entries of the NVR. 

* Restart the machine.
